Spb's Blog

I've been neglecting this blog for a while so here is a quick update from the last few months!

Shouldbepenelope has a lovely range of new necklaces inspired by all things country, currently on sale are birdcage necklaces, two birds necklace, song bird necklace and stag necklace (my personal favourite). These super natural pieces are made using both metal and hand painted wooden charms with beautifully carved birds and branches.

There is also a new winter range of Russian Doll necklaces which includes an extra special Christmas doll called Holly. I've added some Christmas treats this year too, which include necklaces with large glittering Christmas tree pendants and cute bauble earrings.

As it's only just over a week unti Christmas day, Shouldbepenelope is having a super sale with 50% off all christmas items and further reductions on current sale items. So if your short of a few stocking fillers, you could sna up some lovely pieces just before the big day.

Finally, my newest accessories are beautiful hand made purses inspired by the collection I am currently developing for my degree, you can find my first creations here.

I am currently sourcing a few more additions to the Country Kitsch range, as well as some fun new items for the new year!

A big thanks to everyone who has purchased from my website in 2009, I really appricaite your custom and hope you are all enjoying your SPB goodies.

Happy Christmas!

Shouldbepenelope was lucky enough to have one of our russian doll necklaces featured in the July issue of American Elle, and I have just discovered she is on thier website as well! - www.elle.com

I have had some lovely new russian dolls waiting to be made into necklaces for a while now but was having some issues with getting hold of the components I needed. However they are now all completed and listed for sale from today! There are 11 new varieties but I only have one of each colour so if you see one you like, snap it us fast!

All the dolls are vintage hand painted charms in cute, county colours that have been lovingly attached to some chunky 32" gold plated chain. Click here to see the new designs.
